We got back from Quebec on Friday, driving through severe thunderstorms the whole way. Taping was a huge success and our next video, Minds-A-Wander: Quebec will cover language, culture, people, math, history, science...the whole nine yards. We now you'll love it. I know that I've commented before about how thankful I am for how far we've come with this organization. Everyday something new happens, we're presented with another opportunity or we receive wonderful news about exposure for our product. Everyday something happens that tells us that we're on the right track to fulfilling our dream; to travel and to make it possible for others to travel too.
So I want to acknowledge some amazing things that happened before and during our trip that helped to make it a success. First, I want to thank our camera man, Tom, and his wife Jen for all of their support, professionalism and attention to detail. They said yes to go on this trip with us without hesitation. Next, I want to thank the staff at the Ecole de Cirque de Quebec for allowing us to film their facility and for graciously giving up their time to teach us a few things...a freefall from a balcony and some flying trapeze. Our friend Domenic at the Citadelle (the fortress in Quebec) dropped everything to take us on a tour and give us a history lesson. We were given VIP treatment and allowed to walk the outer perimeters of the fortress walls...you'll see on the video, it was amazing. And, last but not least, thank you God for making sure that it didn't rain our last night in Quebec City. In spite of the dismal forecast and looming clouds, we were able to capture the free Cirque de Soleil show on film. If you have the chance, go see one, do it..I've never seen anything like it in my life.
Quebec City is a beautiful place and its citizens are warm and welcoming. They made our trip the memorable experience that it was and always will be.

Leaving for Quebec on Sunday
After almost 6 months of planning, we, the chicas, will be leaving on Sunday to film the second video of our Minds-A-Wander series in Quebec. We would like to welcome our new camera man, Tom, to our team...its going to be a great trip: visiting Vieux Quebec, the Montmorcy Falls, eating crepes, trying to speak French. This morning I got a call from the Ecole de Cirque in Quebec City. This is where many of the performers from the world renouned Cirque de Soleil train. We will be able to film inside their facility and recieve some instruction as well. So, I am feeling pretty happy and thankful right now for all of the opportunities we will have on this trip. We promise our second video to be even more entertaining than our first as we show you all of the fun and interesting things to do when you visit or study in Quebec.
